I’ve been fixing digital cameras for about 2 years now for a small online based company called DarnToothySam. DarnToothySam specializes in providing Affordable digital camera repair parts and repair services. We do not like to see cameras be thrown away when a simple fix is all that is needed much of the time.
I started this blog in response to the almost overwhelming number of Sony DSC-H Series shutter buttons we have been selling since the beginning of the year. It is easily our best selling part by several score, but we’re always asked for installation instructions, which we haven’t had until now. Frustrated with the fact that there is absolutely no word on any problems with the H series from Sony, plus the fact there are no real concise and easy-to-follow instructions online, we started this website!
It is my hope that this can become a community of sorts, for real people to ask real questions, and get real help. No BS, no trying to make a huge profit off of people. We are a business, this is true, but our entire business model is to help as many people as possible, while saving them as much money as we can in the process.
