New Year, New Focus

- Looks around -
- Brushes the dust off of everything -
-Kicks out 300 Viagra sellers off the front lawn -

Hello there!  Been a while, and things are a bit stale in here.  Haven’t really had a chance to focus on the website, much to my chagrin, and I’m going to be rectifying that with the start of the new year.

For all those (legit) comments, I apologize to not getting back to you in a timely fashion.  I get between 5-10 spam emails a day, and I just start to get that glossy-eyed look when I get a new email and ignore it.  That’ll change.
While I’m flattered that hundreds of anonymous computer zombie bot nets are picking me (ME!) to buy their low cost, but high quality viagra and other highly restricted prescription drugs, it’s getting to be a bit much.

That being said, I’m going to get a few more walk-throughs on the various H-series cameras.  Also, I have been noticing another trend happening with the H-series, and it isn’t a good one.  It seems that some cameras, mainly H2s and H5s, seemingly independently of the broken shutter button issue, have been developing a loss of the half-stop focus mechanism that happens when you press the button down half way, and then it focuses, and then snaps the photo.  I’ve noticed it in both cameras with broken shutters and cameras without, and it seems to be almost as common as the broken shutter button.

Thankfully, we have the H2 shutter focus part available for that repair, it is a bit more than the shutter button, but it is available and we can do it for you!

Finally, a bit of good news from DarnToothySam.com.  We just wanted to let you all know, that we are offering FREE US shipping on all orders, no matter the price!  This also includes shipping to Guam, Puerto Rico, and a few other areas.  Unfortunately for our international friends, the shipping costs will remain the same, however, we have a new shipping method for International shipping, and it promises to have faster turn arounds and more reliable tracking, so it is still good news!
